Acceptable Use Policy · OneFintel

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to everyone who accesses OneFintel — paid customers, trial users, demo users, embedded site visitors, and API integrators. Breach of this AUP may result in immediate suspension and termination under our Terms of Service.

1. Permitted use

Use OneFintel for genuine compliance, KYC/AML, payments, treasury, or finance operations within your own organisation, including delivery of those services to your customers under the white-label or embed modes.

2. Prohibited use

No re-distribution of feed data — you may not resell or republish raw OFAC, OFSI, EU, UN, PEP, or other feed data sourced through us to third parties as a data product.
No sanctions evasion — you may not use the platform to help any person or entity evade sanctions, including by deliberately mis-classifying counterparties.
No unlawful surveillance — you may not screen individuals or entities for purposes that are unlawful in the UK, EU, or US.
No discrimination — you may not use risk verdicts as the sole reason for denial of service where doing so would breach equality or anti-discrimination law.
No interference — no DDoS, scraping at scale that ignores rate limits, attempts to brute-force API keys or embed tokens, or attempts to access another tenant's data.
No reverse-engineering — no decompiling our widgets, extracting our database schema, or training derivative AI models on our outputs.
No fake demo accounts — the 2-use Live Demo limit is per real individual. Bypassing the limit via disposable emails or burner phone numbers is a breach of this AUP.
No spam — no using our service to send unsolicited communications.

3. Sensitive data restrictions

Do not upload payment card data (full PAN) — Stripe handles those flows for billing.
Do not upload UK Special Category data (health, religious, etc.) unless your subscription tier and your DPA with us specifically support it.
For minors' data, contact us before uploading — additional safeguards apply.

4. Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is using OneFintel in breach of this AUP, please report it via the form on our contact page. We investigate all credible reports.

5. Enforcement

We may suspend access immediately and without notice where we reasonably believe the platform, its data, or any third party is at risk. We will, wherever practical, give notice and an opportunity to cure before terminating. Repeated or material breaches result in termination with no refund.
